Hostal Casa Bequer Trinidad is located in the heart of the historic city center surrounded by all the museums the town

Hostal Casa Bequer TRINIDAD. A colonial house built in 1793 and acquired by the descendants of Juan Guillermo Bequer, one of the most important sugar aristocrats of the epoque in the Villa. The Béquer family has lived in the property since1861, protecting and preserving the family heritage, specially the house’s architecture and furniture, manufactured in mahogany by the carpenter masters of the epoque; and example of this is the living room’s grand door. The house also has a small room where there is a permanent art exhibition of a Cuban artist’s work.

Hostal Casa Bequer TRINIDAD has six bedrooms, although only 2 are available for rental, and has a spacious patio, full of autochthonous plants that provide the house with freshness and comfort.
As the family also lives here, the family ambiance is the protagonist of the Bequer house. The hosts, for the most part artists, represent a perfect balance as they respect the guests’ privacy while still providing a personalized and familiar service. Guests always leave with awesome memories of this family! Isabel Béquer, “La Profunda”, lives in this house. She is the city’s troubadour and an absolute personality of the Cuban culture. She is the host of anthological social gatherings in the house’s living room, with protagonists such as  Félix Reina, Felo Bergaza, Pomares, Las Hermanas Martí, Esther Borja, Elena Bourque, Moraima Secada, Sara González, Pablo Milanés, Vicente Feliú, Beatriz Márquez and many others. Even though it is rare to hear her sing due to her age, she still provides a mythical air to the house, turning it into a pilgrimage place for musicians and sensitive people visiting the city.
